Great sense of humor, lots of tounge and cheek! However, terrible Consultant and should stick to being a comedian! Completely dismissive! And refused to treat my condition as the previous rheumatologist did! Resulting in me having to go private for treatment! A vet a wouldn't leave an animal like it!

I saw Dr Richards 2 weeks ago following a visit to my GP. I requested Dr Richards as I'd seen him before a couple of years ago with a different complaint. He requested an MRI and I went back today for the results. He listened to my comments and explained fully what my problem was and the course of action we could take. He did an injection there and then and said if this didn't work there was another plan of action in hand. He has a wonderful sense of humour as well as being totally professional. I would definitely recommend him. Brilliant.

I requested to be seen by Dr Richards because I was struggling with a painful condition, thinking there was no hope of any kind of relief. He was well prepared with my Medical Notes and previous history, I felt his knowledge and empathy with that condition was very good and his manor was very professional, I left feeling very pleased with his diagnosis, giving me great hope for the future and the good news is now feel confident enough to renew my Golf Membership.

He does not believe in Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I was discussing this and he shouted at me down the phone. Fast forward to 2 months later and I was diagnosed with it. He only believes in fibromyalgia and that is it because he has written papers on it.
